Example of Coating Method

Fluidized bed coating

Advantage

  • Wide range of coating thickness: 0.2mm - 1.0mm by multiple dip coating
  • Pre-heating of devices is required
  • Suitable for large devices or impregnation required components such as
    motor coil fixation and large capacitors

Fluidized wheel and bed coating

Advantage

  • Suitable for continuous coating for small components such as small capacitors
  • Pre-heating of devices is required

Electrostatic bed coating

Advantage

  • Available for 200 - 500 µm thickness
  • Pre-heating of devices is NOT required
  • Less powder adherence at concave area due to no electric line of force insertion
  • Suitable for small motors

Electrostatic spray gun method with corona charging

Advantage

  • Available for 100 - 200 µm thickness
  • Pre-heating of devices is NOT required
  • Less powder adherence at concave area due to no electric line of force insertion
  • Suitable for large devices such as large motors and building materials.

Electrostatic spray gun method with Tribo charging

Advantage

  • Available for 30 - 200 µm thickness
  • Less powder adherence at concave area due to no electric line of force
  • Coating layer quality is influenced by coating environment
