Sumitomo Bakelite Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; President and Representative Director: Shinichi Kajiya) hereby announces that it will revise the sales prices of its industrial functional materials products.

Due to the recent escalation of tensions in the Middle East, the procurement environment for crude oil, naphtha and other materials has rapidly deteriorated, causing serious disruptions to the supply chains for raw materials used in industrial functional materials, including polycarbonate resin. We are taking every possible measure, including diversifying our procurement channels and refining our inventory strategies, to stabilize supply. However, it has become extremely difficult to maintain current prices while absorbing the increased costs resulting from the current surge in raw material prices and we are therefore compelled to implement a price revision.

Accordingly, we would like to implement the following product price revisions and kindly ask for your understanding and cooperation.
