We offer new materials whose impact strength is outstandingly superior to that of conventional thermoset materials. These materials fill in the gap between conventional materials and prepregs, and are easy to mold 3-dimentional shapes that are difficult for prepregs. Phenol, epoxy, BMI and so on are available for matrix, and glass fibers, carbon fibers and aramid fibers are available for reinforcement. We offer an optimum combination of them for uses. We also have materials that combine wear/friction properties with impact strength. We believe these materials expand the possibility of metal substitution with plastics.
